My typography work focuses on clarity, structure, and expressive visual communication. I explore how type functions across print, digital interfaces, and branding systems—balancing readability with strong conceptual design. Through coursework and project experience, I’ve developed a refined understanding of hierarchy, grid systems, and typographic voice, applying these principles to create purposeful, compelling designs.

Brand Design

For this project, I developed a full logo concept for a fictional South Florida company, Coastline Outfitters (est. 1964). I began with hand-drawn logo drafts in Adobe Photoshop and refined the selected seashell mark into a clean vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator. From there, I explored color palettes, typography, and layout variations before finalizing a cohesive brand direction. The final presentation included multiple logo scales, a clear visual hierarchy, and a branded layout that reflects the coastal identity of the company.

Typography & Type Family ~

Throughout this year, I’ve developed a clear understanding of type families, hierarchy, and readable visual systems. I work intentionally with serif and sans-serif pairings to create balance, clarity, and tone. My typography focuses on clean structure and subtle detail to support strong, modern design.
